Monitor course 5/4/08

This is a late post XD . I was supposed to post this yesterday but then gave in to laziness and procrastinated till now haha... Anyway like the title above , i attended the monitor's course held at school . It was a ... "interesting" experience... where our leadership skills , motor coordination , and many more . First up on the menu was singing negaraku . then followed by a speech by Mr.Pan & later Mr Richard ( he wore polis uni ...forgot to snap haha....) who gave a speech / debate / discussion about the ways to curb crime in school. Much later , the guests came into action... a guy frm PTPL came and gave a talk about the meaning of leadership, the difficulties , the problems , and some other issues . we had a lil group work thing where we were supposed to divide ourselves in to 8 groups with a balanced number of students , mixed races , made up of form 1~6 and we were not allowed to talk... haha we "failed" to accomplish the goals five or six times before he was satisfied (or mebe cus not enough time he jz biar saja) ... we had a short break after that amd later returned to the auditorium for the next speech... two men from the Jabatan BOMBA Batu Lintang (or rather one of them 1st ) gave a speech on how to prevent fire , types of fire (A,B,C and D ) ,what to do when faced with fire , and some others. Then , came the interesting part . a demo on how to use the fire extinguisher . They showed us a video where a man who din know how to use the extinguisher jz baling it into tong sampah when he couldn't open the pin when his kitchen was on fire. Btw for your information , it has been confirmed that our gas tanks at home ( the tong gas we use for cooking ) DO NOT EXPLODE even though it is on fire... yes it will burst out flames like a mini volcano or something but it wont explode. Anyway back to extinguishing... he showed us a demo on how to use the extinguisher , then we left for lunch. After lunch ... i dunno what happened cus i "lari jauh jauh" away haha .... i went back cus i had no transport but check check only got home @ 4++ .... went out for dinner with family + my father's lil sis who came to kuching after "Qing Ming Jie" ( a day where you visit your departed ones / parents ) .So sry ya Brian ...couldn't make it to yr party ....
